South Carolina Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (SCAMCD)

It is important that professionals who affiliate with SCCA also join and become active in those divisions and interest groups that are closely allied with their work settings. SCCA currently collects dues for five divisions. One of these divisions is the South Carolina Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, which dedicates itself to insuring equality regarding the treatment, advancement, qualification, and status of non-white individuals in personnel and guidance work. Programs emphasize all charitable, scientific, and educational activities designed to assist and further the interest of non-whites.
