The 63rd Annual SCCA Conference
February 17 - 19, 2027 in Myrtle Beach, SC

Conference Presentation Proposals Now Open
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the South Carolina Counseling Association's 63rd Annual Conference! We are seeking proposals for live, in-person presentations to be held February 17–19, 2027, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Presentation Information:

Wednesday Learning Summit (formerly Pre-Conference) Presentations: 3 hour session length, can request two 3 hour sessions (6 hours total).

Thursday Regular Conference Presentations: 50 minute session length, can request up to two 50 minute sessions (100 minutes total).

Friday Regular Conference Presentations: 90 minute session length

Graduate Student Poster Presentations: Thursday afternoon, 25 minutes in length
Presentation Proposal Due Dates:

Learning Summit (formerly Pre-Conference) Presentation Proposals due by September 1st.

Regular Conference Presentation Proposals due by October 1st.

Graduate Student Poster Presentations due by October 31st.
Presenter Expectations
Presentation content must address topics relevant to professional counselors and align with one or more of the content areas listed later in this application. Presenters whose proposals are accepted must register for the conference by November 15, 2026. Conference registration opens September 1, 2026.
Presenter Selection and Compensation
SCCA conference presenters are selected through a competitive proposal review process and are not compensated for their presentations. Presenters are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and conference registration.
Submission of a proposal indicates acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.

South Carolina Counseling Association (SCCA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2041.

Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. SCCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
