Description  The College of Education, Sports, and Human Sciences at Winthrop University seeks part-time (adjunct) instructors for the Counseling and Development Program. Successful candidates must have a Doctoral or Master’s degree in Counseling and a be eligible to work in the United States, and successfully clear a background check. Licensure as a clinical mental health counselor or licensure as a school counselor is required. Previous teaching experience at the university level is strongly preferred. A variety of teaching schedules are available, including evening, hybrid, and online courses. Pay depends upon qualifications.  Employment Conditions: A part-time, temporary position. Salary is dependent on academic qualifications and the number of courses to be taught.  Background Check Statement: Winthrop University is committed to providing a safe campus community.
